OBRA Specialized Services
Through the OBRA (Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987) Specialized Services, individuals with an IDD can receive some community-based support while living in a nursing home.

Who is eligible for services?
To be eligible for OBRA Specialized Services:

The member must be over the age of 18.
-
The member must have an Intellectual or Developmental Disability Determination.

The member must reside in a nursing facility.
-
The member must be interested in receiving OBRA Specialized Services.
